An open registry of claims in medicine and health

Priors collects the published evidence behind specific claims in medicine, grades how well each claim is supported, and shows the papers the grade rests on. Grades are revised as new evidence is published and as researchers in each field review them.

What a claim entry contains

The claim as stated, the studies that bear on it, the direction and weight of each study, the current evidence grade, and the open questions the literature has not settled.

Topics in cardiology, metabolic medicine, nutrition and other fields are published at priors.science. Access is free.

Expert review

Researchers who have published in a topic are invited to review its claim grades. Reviews feed back into the grading and can be made anonymously.
